These ceramic magnets are encased in a stainless steel sheath in order to protect the delicate ceramic elements. This also prolongs the life of the magnet itself. All magnets are fitted with diverter bars in order to concentrate the flow of material and contaminant directly next to the magnet bars which improves effectiveness.
Hopper Magnet should have at least twice the cross-sectional area of machine feed throat opening.
